CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – The registrar of deeds of Cavite and his driver were gunned down at the parking lot of a bank in Trece Martires City on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Superintendent Romano Cardino, deputy regional director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, said lawyer Napoleon Gatmaitan, 44, and his driver, Benny Guazon, 36, were on board a light blue Isuzu Crosswind when the motorcycle-riding assassin fired at them with a caliber 9-mm pistol.
