Ilocos pastor gunned down

A 37-year-old pastor, working as a school principal, was shot dead in Ilocos Sur Friday night.

Senior Superintendent Virgilio Fabros, Ilocos Sur provincial director, said the victim, Dickson Uggay, was under suspension as principal of the Concepcion Adventist Academy of Del Pilar due to unliquidated funds.

Probers said Uggay, who was also into the buy and sell of lands, was shot with a caliber .45 pistol. – Cecille Suerte Felipe, Artemio Dumlao
