DAVAO CITY – Thirty-two Filipino fishermen were rescued earlier this week after their vessel sank off Miangas Island in eastern Indonesia.
Maj. Rodrigo Sosmeña, spokesman of the Armed Forces Eastern Mindanao Command, said the fishermen sailed off last Jan. 8 on board F/B Lasuprat 11-H, owned by a certain Lasmina Kalase of General Santos City. – Edith Regalado
