A palace official not allowed to testify monday at the senate inquiry in wiretapping. In a letter to the senate, executive secretary Eduardo Ermita said undersecretary Remedios Poblador was not being given due process at the hearing.
Ermita also said it was premature to invite Poblador to the inquiry. Ex-military intelligence agent Vidal Doble had earlier linked Poblador to the 'hello garci' controversy.
