TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran and the UN atomic energy agency yesterday agreed a timetable for Tehran to clear up outstanding questions over its contested nuclear programme, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) deputy director general Olli Heinonen said.
"We have now in front of us an agreed working plan, how to implement it and we have a timeline for the implementation. We talked about the details and the steps to be taken," he said.
"We expect the report (on Iran's nuclear programme) to be ready by next week, and this report will have details of what we have agreed," Heinonen told reporters after talks in Tehran with Iranian security official Javad Vaeedi.
