The National Water Resources Board gave the reassurance Friday that there will be no water cutback until the end of August.
NWRB Executive Director Ramon Alikpala said that they would not have to cut off water supply to Metro Manila by August 16 as scheduled following the rise of Angat Dam's water level to 181 meters.
The water bureau had earlier said they would have to reduce the water being supplied by the dam to Bulacanand Pampanga due to the drop in the water level in the dam.
