Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar Calderon has sent a team of seasoned probers to Tacloban City to help the local police gather information to identify the killers of activist Charlie Solayao.
Calderon ordered Director Geary Barias, chief of the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management and concurrent head of the PNP’s Task Force Usig, to ensure a thorough probe.
Barias, in turn, directed the probers to utilize the technical expertise of forensic examiners to pin down Solayao’s killers.
