Dr. Eric Tayag, chief of the National Epidemiology Center, said 10 dengue cases were reported in Cabuyao last month, five of them in the Southville resettlement.
There have been 261 dengue-related deaths since January. So far, the number of cases reported — 25,747 — is 16 percent lower than the 2005 figure.
