Taytay thrift bank robbed

Two men armed with handguns robbed yesterday a thrift bank in Taytay, Rizal of a still undetermined amount of cash.

Pretending to be bank depositors, the robbers entered the Winbank along J.P. Rizal Avenue in Barangay San Juan at about 1:05 p.m.

Police said the robbers disarmed the bank’s security guards and then scooped up the cash at the three teller counters. — Non Alquitran
