PO2 Joseph Landicho, officer-on-case, said the robbers carted away checks worth P1.2 million, a clutch bag containing P50,000, P690,000 kept in the vault and two guns belonging to gas station owner Delfin Uson and slain security guard Mario Tagumata.
Cashier Felina Nicobano found Tagumatas body inside the coffee shop when she reported for work at 5 a.m. yesterday. Tagumata, 49, was the lone night-shift guard.
Superintendent Jose Ernesto Fernandez, Cabuyao police chief, said Tagumata was struck on the head with a firearm or hard object while he was dozing off, and his body dragged inside the coffee shop. Rene Alviar and Ed Amoroso
