Masbate Congress bets house ransacked

MASBATE CITY Twenty heavily armed men ransacked the houses of a congressional bet and another resident in Claveria, Masbate last weekend, carting away a total of P180,000 in cash and valuables, police said.
The armed men, clad in fatigue uniforms, barged into the houses in Barangay Canomay of Claveria Mayor Eduardo Andueza, Lakas-CMD candidate in the first congressional district, and one Constantino Gontenas Jr., said Senior Superintendent Romeo Mapalo, provincial police director.
Police said nobody was inside both houses during the break-in. Celso Amo
