Iloilo slay witness killed

ILOILO CITY A witness in the killing of an eight-year-old boy here more than a year ago, was shot dead by two unidentified men in the presence of his wife yesterday morning.
The victim, Rudy Chris Balidiong, 23, was having breakfast with his wife, Rosa Maria, at about 10 a.m. when the assassins approached them from behind and shot him three times one in the back of the head and two in the body, police said.
Balidiong died three and a half hours later at the Saint Pauls Hospital.
His wife said she can identify the gunmen, but she refused to name them.
Balidiong and a 10-year-old girl had executed affidavits as witnesses in the fatal shooting of eight-year-old Kevin Apolinario on Dec. 15, 2002.
The two identified a certain Greg Espinosa as the one who allegedly aimed a rifle at Apolinario. Leo Solinap
