Mamerto Fariñas, alias Mamet, tagged as the number one drug pusher of Cabuyao, Laguna, and his companions were presented yesterday to Deputy Director General Edgar Aglipay, head of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AID-SOTF) of the Philippine National Police.
Thirty-three of the 58 suspects, including Fariñas, were arrested in buy-busts, 14 while engaged in pot sessions, and 11 by virtue of court-issued warrants, according to Senior Superintendent Edwin Corvera, Laguna police director. — Non Alquitran
