DAVAO CITY — No way.
Saying he wants to keep his privacy, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has declined offers from movie producers to make a film about his exploits.
"I value my privacy," the tough-talking mayor said in his weekly television program, Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa, yesterday.
Producers have long wanted to make a film about Duterte since the late 1980s because of his no-nonsense drive against criminality, but he has consistently said no.
