Ex-TV director found dead

A famous television director in the 70s was found dead inside his home in Antipolo City yesterday morning.

The body of Alfred Arthur Cochran, better known as Freddie Cochran during his directorial days, was already in a state of decomposition when neighbors and responding policemen discovered it at about 9 a.m., according to Superintendent Mario Lico, chief of Kababayan Center 1 of the Antipolo police.

Cochran, Lico said, had no known relatives and was living alone at the Town and Country Homes in Barangay Mayamot.

He said Cochran must have been dead for at least a week.

Police are still probing whether there was any foul play in Cochran’s death, but Lico said he seemed to have died of a natural cause.
