Senior Supt. Delfin Genio Jr., deputy director for operation in Region IV, identified the two arrested suspects as Jimsey Galiga, alias Jim, native of barangay Maliliko, Odiongan, Romblon and Rolando Sadicon, alias Laloy.
Galiga, with a reward of P140,000 for his capture, was the primary suspect in the double murder of Jose Famero and Jobar Miralles, both residing in barangay Maliliko, Odiongan, Romblon. He admitted the killing of a certain Julito Tayco of barangay Anilao, Lipa City, sometime in August 2000. The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Executive Judge Francisco Fanlo Jr of branch 82 RTC, 4 Judicial Region, Odiongan, Romblom. — Ed Amoroso
