Seized van contains explosives

A combined team of the Coast Guard, Bureau of Customs and the Davao City police intercepted a 20-foot container van containing explosives, blasting caps and detonation cords at the citys Sasa port yesterday.
The Coast Guard-Davao, in an initial report to its Manila headquarters, said the shipment, misdeclared as animal feeds, arrived from Manila last Tuesday on board cargo vessel MV Ocean Hope.
The container van was brought to the regional police headquarters at Camp Catitipan in Davao City, the Coast Guard said. Nestor Etolle
