NBI confirms arson caused P30-M Nueva Vizcaya fire

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has determined that the fire that razed the warehouse of the provinces electric cooperative last Nov. 17 was caused by arson.
Patrick Flores, general manager of the Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative (Nuvelco), ordered a deeper investigation of the incident after National Capital Region-based NBI investigators declared that the fire was caused by gasoline.
Flores said that the fire that destroyed Nuvelcos warehouse could be the handiwork of some employees who are under investigation for several anomalies.
Flores said that they have already submitted to the NBI several names of Nuvelco employees suspected to be behind the incident. Charlie Lagasca
