"We have always adhered to all requirements in our operations and we have continuously complied with all the rules and laws pertaining to our operations," said Evelyn Elemino, RDL vice president.
RDL Pharmaceutical, which has its base in Davao City, produces and distributes facial beauty products such as Babyface 2 Anti-Acne Depigmenting Agent, more known in the market as Babyface-2.
RDL’s beauty products have gained wide market acceptance not only in the Visayas and Mindanao but have also met the discriminating taste of those in other areas such as Metro Manila.
Its products have also inched their way into markets abroad such as in Indonesia and Malaysia.
"We really owe it to the public who have responded well to the different beauty products we are selling. Aside from thanking our customers no end for the positive response, we also would like to assure them that our skin-care products are safe to use," Elemino said.
Elemino added that the growing popularity of RDL beauty products has in a way triggered an all-out campaign by one of its major competitors to destroy RDL’s reputation.
"We strongly deplore the unfair competition and there are issues we want clarified. But the bottomline is RDL has always consistently complied with all the requirements and we all continue to do so not only for the betterment of our products but also to better serve our growing number of consumers," the RDL executive said.
She explained that the encouraging response RDL products have been getting is enough proof of their positive effects on the firm’s numerous consumers.
RDL is set to launch other beauty products next month.
