DAVAO CITY  The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has yet to formally inform the government peace panel of the composition of its own negotiating group, Presidential Assistant for Mindanao Jesus Dureza said.
"The government still has to receive formal information from the MILF on the composition of its panel although we’ve read about it in news reports," said Dureza, the government’s chief negotiator.
But Dureza also told The STAR he still has to check if such information has already been forwarded to the government’s office on the peace process that receives such information.
Al Haj Murad, the MILF’s vice chairman for military affairs, will reportedly head the negotiating panel, which is composed of some non-MILF members.
The panel members include MILF legal counsel Lanang Ali, former Maguindanao Rep. Michael Mastura, Iligan City lawyer Allan Flores and Maranaw leader Dr. Ahmad Alonto.  Edith Regalado
