‘Arrest bomber’

-
DAVAO CITY — A Regional Trial Court judge here ordered the arrest of an alleged Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) member believed to have been involved in last Dec. 30’s bombings in Metro Manila that killed 11 people and wounded over 100 others.

RTC Judge William Layague issued the arrest warrant for Mohammad Guindolongan, alias Kim or Abu, who was positively identified as among the alleged bombers.

Guindolongan faces charges of illegal possession of explosives. He was reported to have left Davao City for Manila last Dec. 28 and returned here on Jan. 1.

Authorities recovered several bomb components during a raid on his house along Roxas Boulevard here, about nine days after the Metro Manila bombings and three days after a bomb was reportedly found in a mall here. — Edith Regalado
