Bong Go aids Caloocan families

MANILA, Philippines — Emphasizing the importance of reaching communities in need and helping them recover from emergencies, Sen. Bong Go extended assistance to families affected by a fire in Barangay 23, Caloocan City on Sept. 24.

Go distributed financial aid, meals, grocery packs, water containers, snacks, shirts, vitamins and pens.

Seventy-eight beneficiaries received basketballs or volleyballs.

Selected recipients were given a bicycle, watch, shoes and a mobile phone.

Prior to the aid distribution, Go proceeded to the fire’s ground zero to personally assess the extent of damage and check on the condition of the affected residents.
