Driver ng red Ferrari na pumasok sa EDSA bus lane, pinagmulta at sinuspinde ng LTO
MANILA, Philippines — Pinagmulta at sinuspinde ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang lisensya ng driver ng pulang Ferrari na pumasok sa EDSA bus lane kamakailan.
Sa pinalabas na resolusyon ng LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) na pirmado ni LTO Chief Teofilo Guadiz III, dapat managot ang driver dahil sa administratibong paglabag nito partikular na ang disregarding traffic sign.
Inilabas ng ahensya ang desisyon kasunod nang pagkabigo ng driver na sumipot sa magkasunod na pagpapatawag ng LTO dito.
Maliban sa multa, suspendido rin ng 90 days ang lisensya ng driver para ‘di makapagmaneho.
Bukod dito, isinailalim din sa alarma ang pulang Ferrari F8 tributo na may plakang NEM 8999.
Mananatiling nakaalarma ang naturang sasakyan hanggang hindi binabanggit ng car owner ang pangalan ng driver nang mangyari ang insidente.
“We cannot be blamed for swiftly issuing a resolution on this case because the violation warrants it. The bus lane was put up for the exclusive use of PUBs and other authorized vehicles and not for private vehicles, no matter the size, make and price tag.
“Despite the many signs placed declaring it to be as such, the driver blatantly disregarded those, as if showing that he/she is above the law, and we will not let that pass,” dagdag ni Guadiz.
