MANILA, Philippines – Motorists should avoid portions of EDSA and C-5 Road that the Department of Public Works and Highways started repairing last night, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said yesterday.
In an advisory, the MMDA said the reblocking – which started at 11 p.m. yesterday – will be finished by 5 a.m. on Monday.
Among the areas under repair are the portions of EDSA between Aurora Boulevard and P. Tuazon street-service road, southbound, first lane from the sidewalk; and the northbound lane in front of the DPWH district office near the corner of East Avenue.
Also affected by the repair is the northbound portion of C-5 Road in front of the SM Warehouse Gate 2.
