Robertzon Ramirez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - 11 men, reportedly bus drivers and dispatchers, were arrested during a drug raid on an apartment-hotel in Quezon City at dawn yesterday.

Chief Inspector Enrico Figueroa, who heads the Quezon City Police District’s Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group, said they received a tip that the men were allegedly using the 14th Avenue Apartelle as a venue to use shabu.

Some of the suspects were caught using shabu in two of the rooms at around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

It took police officers until dawn yesterday to arrest all the suspects and confiscate sachets of shabu with a street value of P60,000 to P70,000.
