NCRPO nabs 97 persons, seizes 25 kilos of shabu in 4 months

MANILA, Philippines - The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has arrested 97 drug suspects and confiscated 25.1 kilos of shabu, with a street value of P123 million, during intensified operations for the last four months, an official said yesterday.

NCRPO chief Director Joel Pagdilao said he ordered his five district directors and 38 station commanders to crack down on drug pushers, especially during the remaining days of the Yuletide season.

Pagdilao urged the police officials to coordinate with government agencies and local officials so drug pushers and users could be identified and arrested.

He commended Chief Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the NCRPO’s anti-illegal drug division, for the campaign.
