PHLPost naglabas ng selyo ni National Artist Severino Montano
MANILA, Philippines – Inilunsad ng Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) ang commemorative stamps tampok ang Sentenaryo ng kaarawan (1915-2015) ni Severino Montano, National Artist for Theater na ginanap sa bulwagan ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) sa Intramuros, Manila.
Iprinisinta ni Assistant Postmaster General Luis Carlos at ni Felipe M. de Leon, Jr., NCCA Chairman ang souvenir commemorative stamps frame kay Pedro Montano Ruenduen, Jr., pamangkin ni Dr. Montano na siyang kumatawan sa pamilya ng yumaong National Artist.
“The Philippine Postal Corporation pays tribute to National Artist Severino Montano and his contribution to the preservation and promotion of the arts as he joined other National Artist in the country who have been immortalized in stamps”, pahayag ni Postmaster General Josie Dela Cruz.
Nag-imprenta ang PHLPost ng 65,000 piraso ng selyo na mabibili sa halagang P10.00 bawat isang piraso. Ang selyo ay may sukat na 40mm x 30mm at idinesenyo nina in-house artist Victorino Serevo at Ryann Arengo ng NCCA.
