MANILA, Philippines - More families lost their homes after another fire broke out in Manila for the third consecutive day yesterday.
A fire started at a six-door apartment on Blumentritt street just before 8 a.m. It reached fourth alarm before it was put out two hours later.
No one was reported hurt in the blaze, which left 20 families homeless.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire and how much property was destroyed.
On Monday and Tuesday, at least 6,000 families lost their homes when two fires broke out at the Parola Compound in Tondo.
