MANILA, Philippines - A house called “Little Boracay” in Quezon City, where addicts reportedly spend “sleepless nights” in pot sessions, was raided by policemen Wednesday afternoon.
Six persons were arrested during the raid on the suspected drug den in Barangay Pinyahan, said Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao.
According to Pagdilao, the alleged owner of the house, Jovelyn Orgonio, 43, was arrested for drug peddling after she sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer.
Several sachets of shabu, with a street value of around P35,000, and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from Orgonio, according to Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the QCPD’s anti-drug unit.
Pagdilao also said five other men were caught during a pot session in the house: Christian Orgonio, Edmun Tuesta, Arthur Cambay, Marlon Gonda, Melque Guimarangan.
