MANILA, Philippines - A male beautician was stabbed after he turned down a man’s offer to have sex with him in Quezon City Wednesday night.
Ricardo Ferrer, 30, was seriously injured after being stabbed several times allegedly by Juan Paolo Talastas, 36, case investigator Police Officer 3 Arielito Canlas said.
Canlas said the incident happened at a beauty salon in Barangay Sangandaan where Ferrer works.
The suspect arrived at past 7 p.m. and offered to have sex with the victim in exchange for a DVD player and speaker.
However, Ferrer declined the offer. Talastas left the shop and returned after a few minutes to convince the victim, only to be turned down again.
Irked, the suspect got hold of a knife and stabbed the victim repeatedly.
A traffic enforcer saw Talastas allegedly coming out of the shop with a bloodied bladed weapon. The traffic enforcer reported the incident to village watchmen who arrested the suspect.
