MANILA, Philippines - A grenade exploded at the Raxabago police station in Tondo, Manila Monday night.
No one was harmed but the blast damaged a motorcycle.
Station commander Superintendent Virgilio Viloria said two unidentified assailants wearing black helmets and riding a black motorcycle lobbed the grenade at the station at around 10:15 p.m.
The suspects fled toward Road 10.
Monday’s blast was not the first in Raxabago station – last April a grenade was thrown in front of the station.
No one was hurt in the explosion but a motorcycle and a car were destroyed. Alfredo Roy Elgrico, 21, and Jay-R Castolome, 31, were arrested in a follow-up operation.
On March 20, a man lobbed a grenade at the Smokey Mountain police precinct, wounding three persons.
