MANILA, Philippines - Two men were arrested for allegedly peddling P100,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Tuesday.
Jonathan Cabrera, 56, a resident of Taal, Batangas, and Jose Simben Vergara, 53, of Marilao, Bulacan were subjected to inquest proceedings for selling drugs, said Quezon City Police District director Chief Superintendent Richard Albano.
Albano said the suspects were nabbed in front of a house in Barangay Bahay Toro.
Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the QCPD’s anti-drugs unit, said the suspects yielded 25 grams of shabu during the sting.
Policemen also confiscated from the suspects a caliber .38 revolver and a Toyota Townace (RGG-216).
