MANILA, Philippines - Two motorcycle-riding men, one of them claiming to be a police officer, killed the president of a neighborhood association in her house in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City Thursday afternoon.
Delfina Macapagal, 56, died from gunshot wounds to the head.
Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisumbing said two neighbors claimed they heard gunshots from the victim’s house at past 3 p.m. When they rushed to the house to check, they saw a man who identified himself as a police officer and told them to look down or be shot.
The man then boarded a motorcycle driven by an accomplice and they sped away, Quisumbing said.
