Diplomatic community nakiisa sa Battle of Manila
MANILA, Philippines - Hindi pinalagpas ng diplomatic community ang pagdalo sa paggunita ng makasaysayang Battle of MaÂnila kahapon sa Lungsod ng Maynila.
Pinangunahan ni Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, ang pag-aalay ng bulaklak sa selebrasyon ng ika-68 Battle for Manila na may temang Saluting the VeteÂrans sa Freedom Triangle na malapit sa Manila City Hall.
Hinikayat din ng alkalde ang publiko lalo na ang mga kabataan na tularan ang katapangan ng mga beterano na ipaglaban ang pagmamahal sa Pilipinas lalo na sa panahong kailangan itong patunayan.
Kabilang sa mga diplomats na nag-alay din ng bulaklak ay sina U.S. Embassy Marine Attachè, Lt. Col. Michael Ercolano; Embassy of Canada Political Counsellor, Mr. James Cristoss; Embassy of the People’s Republic of China (PROC) Defense Attache, Senior Col.
