MANILA, Philippines - Caloocan City police officers will distribute fliers tomorrow in three barangays surrounding the house of stray bullet victim Stephanie Nicole Ella to help solve her killing, an official said yesterday.
Superintendent Jackie Candelario, spokesman of the Task Group Nicole, said the fliers will be distributed in Barangays 180, 185, and 186 in Tala, Caloocan. He said they will also post tarpaulins to encourage witnesses to come out.
The fliers and tarpaulins will highlight the P2.4-million reward offered by the government to anyone who can provide information that would lead to the arrest of the trigger-happy person.
Ella, a resident of Barangay 185, hit by a stray bullet in the head while watching fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Five suspects have been rounded up but were later released for lack of evidence.
