MANILA, Philippines - Quezon City policemen will soon have an obstacle course in their headquarters at Camp Karingal, Mayor Herbert Bautista announced Friday.
“This will help you enhance your physical endurance,” he said in his keynote address during the celebration of the Quezon City Police District’s (QCPD) 73rd anniversary.
Bautista said the construction of the obstacle course will start before the year end. His chief of staff, Aldrin Cuna, said the city government would fund the construction of the obstacle course inside Camp Karingal.
QCPD director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega thanked the city government for the logistical support to the local police, citing the additional firearms and vehicles given to the QCPD earlier this year.
