MANILA, Philippines - Two men were killed in separate shooting incidents in Manila yesterday morning.
The first victim, whose identity was not immediately known, was shot at 2:50 a.m. in front of a store on Oroquieta street in Sta. Cruz district.
A few hours later, Omar Mendozo, 23, was shot and killed by a lone gunman in Baseco Compound in Tondo.
Police detective Amelito Lopez said Mendozo was filling up the potholes in the area when the unidentified suspect shot him.
Investigators have yet to establish the motive behind the twin killings.
