MANILA, Philippines - Burglars broke into the house of ABS-CBN reporter Jay Ruiz in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City.
Police said the burglary was discovered when Ruiz woke up at past 5 a.m. yesterday. He told police he saw his things in disarray when he woke up.
He found that the burglars had taken two laptops, two cell phones, two wallets, money and wristwatches. They also raided his refrigerator, he said.
Police said the burglars gained entry through one of the rooms while Ruiz and his family were asleep.
