Rob suspect slain in Manila

Manila, Philippines - A robbery suspect was killed and his alleged accomplice arrested in an alleged shootout in Sta. Ana, Manila before dawn yesterday.
The slain suspect, who remains unidentified, is the third alleged robber killed in less than a week and the 16th in less than two months. His companion, Arbie John Frogoso, 18, was caught as three others escaped.
Eleanor Lopez, owner of the Mouse Maze Computer Shop along Pedro Gil street, called up the Manila Police District to complain that the suspects were loitering in her shop.
Police officers from the MPD Station 10 responded. The unidentified suspect reportedly started shooting at the lawmen, who retaliated.
