MANILA, Philippines - The man who allegedly killed radio broadcaster Marlina Sumera in March last year is in the Caloocan City Jail for a drug offense.
A Northern Police District official who requested anonymity said the suspect, known as JV or Bunso, is the triggerman. Sumera was ambushed by at least four persons a few meters from her house on March 24. She had been on her way to work.
Sumera died on the spot from a gunshot wound in the back of her head.
