Police hunt suspects in real estate broker's slay

- Non Alquitran -

MANILA, Philippines - Two police teams are tracking down the suspects in the killing of a 69-year-old real estate broker in Mandaluyong City Monday.

Cheriebel Aguinaldo, alias Che-Che, a native of Labo, Camarines Norte and a certain Ray-Ray were positively identified by their neighbors as the same persons caught on a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera checking in at Sogo Hotel some 12 minutes after the body of the victim Don Relova was discovered.

Senior Superintendent Armando Bolalin, Mandaluyong City police chief said Aguinaldo and Ray-Ray disappeared from their respective residences at Barangay Kasilawan in Makati City after the CCTV footage was shown in a news report of a local television station.

“We are still trying to establish the motive behind the slaying of Relova. So far, what we have on hand is the identities of the two suspects caught on video footage coming out of the victim’s room,” Bolalin said.
