MANILA, Philippines - A 69-year-old American was arrested in his posh Ayala Alabang house in Muntinlupa City on Wednesday over charges of pedophilia that allegedly took place six years ago.
Investigators Senior Police Officer 3 Elias Nero and SPO2 Henry Himbing said Harvey Smoller was arrested based on the arrest warrant issued by Judge Philip Aguinaldo of Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 207.
He has just alighted from his van when he was arrested.
Police said Smoller was complained by the parents of two cousins with ages 10 and 12, whom he allegedly molested six years ago.
Smoller is currently staying at Muntinlupa City police headquarters and is expected to post P180,000 bail.
