MANILA, Philippines – An accounting clerk was stabbed by robbers at a mall in Baclaran Saturday night, police said yesterday.
Senior Police Officer 2 Christ Gabutin said Michael Talabucon, 28, was shopping for clothes at the Galleria in Baclaran when knife-wielding robbers grabbed his bag, which contained his laptop and two cellphones.
Police said the victim, who works for Kolin Philippine International Inc., tried to fight back but robbers stabbed him twice in the back. Pedicab driver Arturo Cruz rushed the victim to the hospital.
