Caloocan City Mayor Enrico Echiverri yesterday announced they are setting up a more efficient public assistance desk to cut through bureaucratic red tape.
He said the help desk, managed by the Community Relations Office, will serve the public even during the noon break.
Echiverri said residents may also call telephone number 288-8811 local 2275 or text 0919-721701 to air their concerns, or contact city officials through recomendadonews@yahoo.com or through a “chat box” on www.caloocancity.gov.ph.
Echiverri also instituted a one-stop shop for taxpayers and walk-in service counters for the public’s convenience. The city hall has also provided special lanes for senior citizens, pregnant women and persons with disabilities. – Jerry Botial
