Under the Skills Lista project, job seekers are urge to register at Herrera’s office or online at www.PHIL-JOBNET.com. The accomplished application will be submitted to the QC Public Employment Office and the DOLE regional office for referral to companies.

Herrera said over 1 million of the 2.5 million residents in the city belong to the working group while many are still jobless or underemployed even though they have the adequate skills and knowledge for certain job.

Aside from skills program Herrera has also spearheaded free training for call center agents and free short courses on computer literacy through the Computer on Wheels program and the Bagong Henerasyon computer training center.
