QC cops identify chop-chop suspect

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is tracking down a woman who left inside a taxi a suitcase containing a mutilated human body before boarding a plane for the Visayas the other day.

QCPD director Chief Superintendent Nicasio Radovan Jr. said he has coordinated with the provincial police office of Dumaguete in the hunt for one Grace Abuyador Cuba, who was last seen boarding an Air Philippines flight to Dumaguete City at 5:30 a.m. last Thursday.

Radovan said initial police investigation showed that Cuba boarded an ABC taxi driven by Edito Sapitin in Baesa, Quezon City at 2 a.m.

The suspect, according to the taxi driver, was carrying three traveling bags, including a black suitcase, which he loaded in the trunk of the taxi.

At 3:30 a.m., the taxi arrived at the domestic airport. The suspect entered the terminal with her luggage.

Unknown to the taxi driver, the woman left behind the black suitcase.

He saw the suitcase after arriving at the company garage on Commonwealth Avenue.

Upon opening the bag, the driver was horrified to find an armless and headless torso of a woman.

The driver sought police assistance to report his gruesome find.
