Maynilad announces water cut-off in Cavite, Metro

-
Some areas in Bacoor, Imus and Kawit, Cavite, will have no water for 16 hours, starting at 11 p.m. on Nov. 29 and until 3 p.m. on Nov. 30.

The water service interruption is due to the interconnection of the newly constructed crossover pipe to the existing 600mm S.P. mainline at the Zapote Bridge crossing along Zapote Road, Las Piñas-Bacoor Boundary.

Low pressure to no water will be also be experienced from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Nov. 29 in Upper Maligaya, Caloocan, and in Filinvest II, Barangay Silangan, and higher portions of Sacred Heart in Quezon City due to the installation of a Power Factor Capacitor Bank at the La Mesa Booster Pumping Station.

The repair and maintenance works are part of Maynilad’s continuing program to upgrade and improve its service to customers in these areas.

Affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption. They may also call Maynilad Water Hotline 1626 or text Maynilad through SMART 7001626 for the water-rationing schedule.
