Special Investigator 4 Carlos Borromeo III, of the NBI-Intellectual Property Rights Division (IRPD), said they confiscated 10,537 pieces of fake cosmetics and perfume products of different brand names such as Maybelline, Clinique, Guy Laroche, Polo Ralph Lauren, LOreal, Giorgio Armani and Drakkar.
Borromeo said the raid was conducted on the strength of a search warrant issued by Executive Judge Antonio Eugenio Jr., of Branch 24 of the Manila City Regional Trial Court (MCRTC).
NBI agents raided two stalls at the 2nd floor of the New Divisoria Mall and their two stockrooms. The stalls were leased to Grow Grow Boutique House reportedly owned by Jeric Ong and Tessie Chua.
