"I am with my son now here at our safehouse. He was not kidnapped, just missing," Cam said in a phone interview at noon.
Paolo arrived at the safehouse at 11:30 a.m. from a hotel room in Legazpi City in Bicol.
According to Cam, their relatives fetched his 17-year-old son Paolo, who was with friends at the Carlos Hometel in Barangay Rawis at around 1 a.m.
However, Cam said she still has to talk to her son to find out why he ended up in the province.
Paolo, a freshman in Airlink International Aviation School taking up aircraft technology, was resting and unavailable for interviews yesterday.
An earlier report said Cam received a text message from her son last Wednesday evening, saying he was safe and not abducted.
She claimed in an interview with ABS-CBNs Insider that her son just went to province to unwind and get away from pressures brought about by his mothers jueteng exposé.
"But as far as I know, wala siyang sama ng loob sa akin. He just mentioned to me that he is no longer comfortable with his school," she stressed.
It was reported that Paolo was considered dropped out by the school after he stopped attending classes.
