Rotary sponsors QC drug summit

The Rotary Club of Metro SFDM will sponsor the "Quezon Citywide Summit for a Drug-Free Workplace" at the Amoranto Stadium on Aug. 11 in cooperation with the Office of the Quezon City Vice Mayor, DrugCheck Phils. Inc. and the Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse Council.

RC Metro SFDM president Rey Mendoza said about 700 QC-based companies are expected to participate in the drug summit.

Topics to be discussed are the national drug situation and its effect on corporate productivity, RA 9165 and related letter circular and resolutions as legal basis for the implementation of a corporate drug free workplace program, the proper and legal procedure in conducting drug tests and rehabilitation campaign in Quezon City’s Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
